Criminal law

Legal consequences
Criminal law is that part of public law that provides for the provision of criminal sanctions to anyone who commits actions that the legal system recognizes as a crime.
The behavior of the individual is in fact limited in acting or not acting by the existence of these rules which, if not respected, determine legally relevant consequences for the subject.
The crime
Criminal law is characterized by the presence of the “crime”. It is therefore terminologically incorrect to refer to the “criminal offense”: when it comes to a crime, this can only be criminal. The law in force therefore does not contemplate any other type of crime other than that which has a criminal relevance.
Criminal law, unlike civil law, does not work for the regulation of relationships between private individuals, but regulates the methods of sanctioning and repression of certain illicit cases (considered) particularly serious by the State.
